Why Norcraft?

Norcraft Cabinetry, as part of the Norcraft Companies brand, is one of the longest-running cabinet producers in the industry. In 1966, Norcraft started in Marshall, a small western Minnesota town.

Starting as a small regional manufacturer, Norcraft Cabinetry has grown through the last five decades to become the United State's fifth largest cabinetry producer. Their work culture extends out to this tradition in stability. To have two generations of a family working within their company is not uncommon, and some of our employees have been with them since their opening in 1966.

Cabinet Process

Norcraft Cabinetry is made to precise quality standards. Our decades of experience has built solid relationships with the best suppliers in the business. While we are using time honored joinery techniques, our culture is based on innovation and continuous improvement.

How Norcraft cabinets are built:

  • Norcraft builds the doors to ensure quality and meet the demands of short production cycles.

  • The functional hardware; drawer glides and hinges are built for them by some of the best manufacturers in the industry.

  • The cabinets are finished using the best techniques in the industry. The stains and paints are hand applied. The finish coat is oven cured for strength, durability, and the best grain clarity.

  • The cabinets are packaged individually using the proper corner protectors. They ship to the local dealer on trucks dedicated for our products and using carriers that are used to handling cabinetry.

Environmental Stewardship Program Certification

Norcraft Cabinetry is a certified brand in the Kitchen Cabinet Manufacturers Association (KCMA) Environmental Stewardship Program. The program recognizes companies that demonstrate an ongoing commitment to sustainability including the use of environmentally responsible materials in cabinet products and minimized environmental impacts realized through recycling wastes and using low emission coatings. By achieving this certification, Norcraft Cabinetry is going beyond the minimum requirements and demonstrates leadership in growing a sustainable company.
